Character Technical Director for Shaba Games - SF!

We’re looking for an experienced Character TD to come work on our new 2 year project. Our team has been together creating games for years, and just shipped Spiderman: Web of Shadows. We working in a cool exposed brick/lofty building in downtown San Francisco, right in the heart of it all!

Description

[li]Maintain high resolution facial rigs that utilize both join and blendshapes.
[/li][li]Create different sized rigs for various proportioned characters.
[/li][li]Set skin weights and real-time physics constraints on simulated cloth and hair.
[/li][li]Set up, copy, and transfer skin weights to character and costumes.
[/li][li]Collaborate with character artists and animators.
[/li][li]Be a valuable key member of our development staff.
[/li][/ul]

Qualifications
[ul]
[li]Shipped at least one title as a character TD or rigger.
[/li][li]Experience with skeletons, rigs and animation work flows in Max.
[/li][li]Knowledge of the Unreal engine a plus
[/li][li]Ability to analyze and debug skin weight issues.
[/li][li]Ability to collaborate with peer-level character modelers and animators.
[/li][li]Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
[/li][li]Must be receptive to art direction and perform well within a collaborative team environment.
[/li][li]Must be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure.
[/li][li]Self-motivated towards solving creative problems and communicate those issues/solutions to colleagues.
[/li][/ul]
