Currently we are looking for a full-time Lead TD with 5 or more years experience in animation feature films. If you are or know

Projects range from full CG feature films and series to creating visual effects shots for live action movies.
Responsibilities
- Help to define the long term strategy for the Pipeline development of the company
- Writing pipeline tools and further developing the pipeline for use across Grid shows
- Working in collaboration with the Department Leads and end users to determine the best solutions
- Once a solution has been agreed then ensure that it addresses end users and show requirements as briefed
- Maintaining of tools including troubleshooting and optimization
- Thorough documentation of all development and updating as necessary
- Ongoing research to recommend improvements of workflows in order to improve productivity or communication
Essential
- 5+ years experience in CG feature film productions
- Excellent Python, Maya and Linux skills
- Experience developing for a CG application such as Maya and Nuke
- Problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- The ability to prioritize production needs and tasks
- Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task
- Good understanding of the entire animated film process, from concept to compositing
- General understanding of networking and performance issues that arise with automated tools
Desirable
- Experience with Arnold
- Experience with Shotgun/Tank
This job will be located in Ghent, Belgium, starting immediately. Can be based on project or longer term contract.
