Are you a Javascript web UI engineer?
Luma Pictures is a leading visual effects studio that has contributed to blockbuster films like Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: Winter Soldier and The Avengers. Visual Effects is a complex process requiring sophisticated tools to manage pipeline and workflow, and we’re looking for a Javascript UI engineer to join our team of developers.
Qualifications:
- Understand user experience
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- Javascript ninja (write solid code and up-to-date on latest ES standards)
- Solid understanding of using RESTful HTTP APIs
- Understand MongoDB or other nosql databases
- Experience with Node.js on the server
- Strong testing habits
- Comfortable working with Git or Mercurial
Bonus Points:
- Experience with building and styling React UI components
- Comfortable using Linux / OSX in dev environment
