Role Overview

Frostbite is a technology and collaboration platform for diverse game franchises like Battlefield, Mass Effect, Need for Speed, Dragon Age and Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, as well as games such as Star Wars: Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst and EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.

At Frostbite we have a small multi-disciplined team who is dedicated to virtual reality projects and for that team we are now looking for a Senior Technical Artist. Your part as Technical Artist focuses on content pipelines and having an imaginative and explorative mindset, where research and prototyping is key.

Key Responsibilities

[li]Focus on how content creation is approached from the perspective of VR
[/li][li]Help establish and develop tools, pipelines and workflows
[/li][li]Prototype and continuously explore and research new technologies
[/li][li]Collaborate with the team and set your own direction and objectives
[/li][li]
[/li][/ul]

Qualifications
You have:

[ul]
[li]4+ years of experience as a tech artist and the AAA industry
[/li][li]Shipped multiple products and worked with the full production cycle
[/li][li]An open mind and enjoy researching and trying out new technology
[/li][li]Experience with collaborating with engine teams
[/li][li]Some familiarity with shaders and related programming and scripting languages
[/li][li]Experience with PBR, character creation or real-time global illumination & lighting
[/li][li]Knowledge in memory/performance work
[/li][li]Genuine interest in VR and rendering tech
[/li][/ul]
