What our Character Riggers do:

[li]Work closely with modeling and animation teams to create optimized rigs that fully address the needs of the character’s functionality.
[/li][li]Weight characters in an efficient manner while maintaining a high degree of visual and deformation fidelity.
[/li][li]Create tools that streamline the character creation workflow throughout the entire pipeline.
[/li][li]Maintain character hierarchical standards and protocols.
[/li][li]Ability to troubleshoot pre-existing character rig setups / scripts.
[/li][/ul]
Who we are looking for:
[ul]
[li]Advanced knowledge of 3ds Max or Maya.
[/li][li]Past experience with various rig setups, including bipedal, quadruped, and complex robotic / mechanical characters.
[/li][li]Strong understanding of MAXScript, scripted controllers and expressions.
[/li][li]In-depth knowledge of FK/IK systems.
[/li][li]Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with multiple teams.
[/li][li]Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
[/li][li]3-5 years experience with character rigging / skinning in a production environment.
[/li][/ul]
Even better candidates:
[ul]
[li]Unreal 3 Engine experience
[/li][li]Previous experience leading a small team of riggers.
[/li][/ul]
