High 5 Games, the premier developer of video slot games for the land based and social markets, is seeking a Technical Artist in New York City or remote for the right person (but you have to be very, very right). You’ll get to work on the 59th Floor of the new 1 World Trade Center, with stunning 360 views of Manhattan and the surrounding area, right next to a beautiful and revitalized Hudson river.

You are an artist that thinks in systems and a coder that thinks in pictures. You have the ability to see beyond simple task requirements to abstract the problem into an elegant solution. You love collaborating with end users and see them as partners. You happily support the people adjacent to you, taking the opportunity to impart your knowledge and experience. You are a proactive member of the team, always willing to lend a hand and are determined to build the fastest, most elegant game asset pipeline in history. You love well written code, that is testable, modular, and documented. You want to HULK SMASH any tasks that are not creative in nature. This is a unique opportunity to work in a pipeline that blends content creation techniques in both film and game development.
