Tdu :: PhotoReal Lighting Starts This Monday!

January 5 - March 2, 2015
COURSE OVERVIEW
When working on a photorealistic project, the best compliment a lighter can receive is that it looks like no work was done at all. Whether lighting an all CG scene or integrating CG elements into a live-action plate, photorealistic lighting strives to feel so natural the audience just believes it to be true.

While certainly an art form, photorealistic lighting also has a scientific side that only gets honed over years of training. As a Visual Effects Supervisor, Animation Director, Creative Director, and artist over the last 14 years, Vadim Turchin has the experience and focuses on the specific skills needed to masterfully craft a shot for a photorealistic final look. While he will cover a variety of tools including VRay, Arnold, and Nuke, Vadim will also lend his trained eye to help you achieve the level of work you have always wanted. He will show you how all elements must work together flawlessly in order for a photo-real shot to be achieved successfully.
