I need to create secondary motion for faking cloth simulation in 3d max please guide us in creating a rig for such a system or resources regarding it
have you tried the Flex -Modifier ?
It makes vertex selections wiggling/wobbling, supports basic weight per vertex assigning. Disadvantage is that it’s rather slow in the viewport (so you want to set the modifier to rendertime visible only) and thus is not too predictable…

Its very loose. I don’t want to use cloth sim. Can you suggest any method in maya which can fake it in real time during animation?
